About Me.
As a union Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Set Designer, my professional journey has been one of constant exploration, collaboration, and growth. For as long as I can remember, I have been captivated by the power of entertainment design. Despite my early career centering on coding and tech, the space where art and design intersect became my aim, first as a graphic designer for magazines and newspapers, followed by 3-D animation and video game design, and finally leading me to design for live action film and TV.
I am someone who loves learning, so I am constantly looking for ways to add new skills and programs to my competencies. I love having the versatility of switching job titles from project to project, not only because it gives me a unique insight into the inner workings and demands of the different department positions, but also because it satiates my inherent need for new experiences. An intuitive problem solver, I pride myself on approaching each project with a combination of imagination and practicality, striving to ensure that every set is not only delivered on time and on budget, but is also visually striking while serving the narrative purpose of the story.
I graduated from the American Film Institute with a Masters in Production Design, and was immediately accepted into the Art Directors Guild’s newly created training initiative. Because of the many people who helped and guided me along my career journey, I am passionate about mentoring and helping other eager and talented people make their way and grow in this industry. More than anything else, I hope that becomes my legacy.
I have had the privilege of collaborating on numerous notable projects, such as WANDAVISION, THE SUICIDE SQUAD, and more recently, YELLOWSTONE. From working alongside talented Production Designers and Directors to collaborating with some amazing art department and production teams, each project has encouraged me to evolve as a creative, pushing my own boundaries and embracing every new challenge in this industry as an exciting opportunity.
